| Lars Dam the founder of Electric Motors International
Ltd has a background as control
panel builder. He worked several years as apprentice for Aalborg
Dynamotor A/S which was the company who supplies Aalborg Industries A/S
with control panels. Lars has a degree in electro engineering
(El-Installation).
Lars Dam commenced employment with Aalborg
Industries Southampton in 1991 as a marine boiler service engineer.
During the period 1991 to 1997 Lars traveled the world performing
service on ships and commissioning new boilers.
In 1995 as a result of a Management Buy Out Aalborg
Industries Southampton became Testbank. Testbank retained the exclusive
agency for Aalborg Industries in the UK and around the same time Lars
was promoted to UK Sales Manager with responsibility for marketing
Aalborg Industries’ products in the UK.
In he's employment with Testbank, Lars achieved
considerable success in the following years and has become a well known
figure in the UK marine community, particularly in London.
Lars started his own company in 1997 known as
Danish Marine Services Ltd
